Purpose: Happiness is the ultimate aim of life. Align your actions and goals with this guiding 
principle. 
 
Identity: Embrace your core identity using the G.R.A.C.E. framework—you are Good, Rational, 
Active, Connected, and Energized. 
 
Values: As our purpose in life is happiness, our highest value is also happiness. 
 
Skills and Abilities: Identify areas where you can grow. Continuous improvement builds 
confidence and capability. 
 
Behavior: Ensure your actions align with your purpose and values. Act with intention and 
integrity. 
 
Environment: Surround yourself with positive and supportive environments that foster growth 
and well-being. 
 
Practical Tip: Reflect on each level and identify one area to improve this week. Take a small, 
intentional step toward enhancing it. 
 
STEP 2: Know Your Problems 
 
Awareness begins with recognizing and addressing the challenges in your life. Without clarity on 
your problems, they can feel overwhelming and unsolvable. 
 
Current Problems: Identify what is holding you back today and tackle it head-on. Break 
problems into smaller, actionable steps to avoid procrastination. 
 
Future Problems: Anticipate potential challenges and prepare for them. A proactive mindset 
reduces surprises and increases confidence. 
Practical Tip: Write down three current challenges and one possible future challenge. Create a 
plan for how to address or prevent each one. 
 
 
       STEP 3:  Know What You Want  
 
Clarity about your goals and aspirations allows you to focus your energy effectively. 
 
Be Specific: Clearly define your goals and visualize them vividly. The more detailed your vision, 
the stronger your motivation will be. 
 
Understand Emotions: Every desire is tied to an emotion. Identify the emotion driving your 
goals—it will help you prioritize what truly matters.

W.I.S.H. 
 
W - Well-Stated: Frame the goal in positive terms. 
 
Future Pacing: Imagine your future self talking to you. He tells you that you succeed, That 
although he can't tell you exactly how you succeed, he encourages and assures you that you do 
succeed. 
 
I - Independent: The outcome should be within your control, not reliant on others. 
 
Flexibility: Focus on the underlying emotion that the achievement would generate. Be open to 
finding easier or alternative ways to achieve that emotion, which promotes adaptability in your 
approach. 
 
S - Small steps: Divide the goal into manageable, small steps. 
 
Timeline Technique: Visualize each small step on a timeline, organizing and sequencing your 
actions toward the goal. This helps in seeing the progression and planning the journey. 
 
H - Happiness in Progress: Feel and celebrate the emotions of achievement as each step is 
completed. 
 
Future Pacing: Reinforce the positive feelings associated with each step's completion by 
mentally rehearsing the success and satisfaction at each juncture, enhancing motivation and 
emotional connection to the process. 
 
This holistic approach not only structures the goal-setting process but also leverages NLP 
techniques to make the journey towards achievement more engaging, emotionally rewarding, 
and adaptable to changing circumstances. 
 
       
 
      STEP 4: Know Your Feelings 
 
Mastering your emotional state is essential for personal transformation. Two powerful 
techniques, Energy Spinning and the Circle of Excellence, help you disassociate from negative 
emotions and cultivate positive ones: 
 
Energy Spinning: Visualize an intense emotion (e.g., anger or anxiety) as spinning energy, 
such as a tornado. Move the energy outside your body and manipulate its speed, direction, and 
color to lessen its intensity. This disassociation establishes control over the emotion. 
 
Circle of Excellence: Transform the spinning energy into a cylinder of light representing the 
emotional state you need. Visualize orbs of light floating inside, removing negativity and 
delivering positivity. Step into the circle to feel the desired emotion envelop and empower you. 
 
Practical Tip: Practice these techniques together. Start by visualizing and controlling the 
emotion, then step into the circle of excellence to replace negativity with a desired state of 
being. 
 
STEP 5: Know Your Future 
 
Envisioning success helps you stay focused and motivated. The Timeline Technique and Future 
Pacing are powerful tools to bring this vision to life: 
 
Timeline Technique: Imagine a future version of yourself who has achieved success. Let them 
assure you that you will succeed. This belief improves your attitude and emotional state, 
increasing your chances of success. 
 
Future Pacing: Break your goal into smaller steps and visualize how achieving your goal will 
feel. Condition yourself to feel success every time a step is achieved, making the process itself 
rewarding. 
 
Practical Tip: Write down the steps to achieve one goal. Visualize the emotions you’ll feel when 
your goal is accomplished. Anchor that emotion and feel it with each accomplished step. This 
will motivate and reward you as you progress.
